Books Are Treasures creates opportunities for children, families, and communities to discover the joy of reading, explore new ideas, and build meaningful connections through books and literacy experiences.

Every Book Can Be a Treasure

A book can introduce a child to a new world, help them see themselves in a story, or open the door to possibilities they never imagined. Through our programs and community efforts, Books Are Treasures works to make those moments possible.

Featured Program

Be the Hero of Your Own Story

Be the hero of your own story is about the child learning how to tell their own story, self actualize. The book author guides them in a journaling activity where they create their own stories

We help children discover that their voices, ideas, experiences, and stories matter.

​

Programs are offered free of charge, and children receive books to take home so the learning and love of reading can continue at home.
